Mmmm....

À part dire comment poser un panneau de CF sur un frame de toit de corvette ça dit pas grand chose...

le titre a aucun rapport ..... jpensai sa montrai comment on fait du carbon fiber , comment le traiter et comment le proteger. Fail lol.

It shows the basics and the supplies you will need to lay up carbon fiber

This thread title is a FAIL. Although it was informative nowhere does it show the supplies or the basics of laying up carbon fiber. There's also no need whatsoever to attack the frenchman lol, especially when he's 100% correct in his post.

The basics of a Wet carbon layup: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAdVO8Rkv6c"]YouTube - How To Make Your Own Carbon Fiber (Fibre) Parts.[/ame]

There's Pre-preg aka dry carbon also, but out of the realm of most DIYers.

^^^ That has me ROFLMAO! That's like saying "we americans" have the patent on air lol. 3M doesn't have a patent on carbon fiber nor did they invent it. They have a patent on 3M Di-NOC Carbon Fiber Vinyl which is a textured vinyl but not carbon fiber...

The 3 tubes of PL premium it looks like he used are probably heavier than the lexan he replaced.....

May as well have Di-Noc'ed it if all he's going for is the look.

& the echo don't help none either lol twice

But, Truth be know carbon lay-up is well within the reach of your average Home fabricator,

You just have to apply yourself, Do alot of research, And hone your skills

And one day you'll be nearly good enough to call yourselve's American lol

lol @ 3m making carbon fiber. Nasa made it back in the mid 1950s.
