Transport Canada to make black boxes mandatory in cars by 2016

To keep the highway death toll to a minimum and enforce the safety code, Transport Canada is currently studying the possibility of the mandatory inclusion of a black box in all vehicles sold in the country from 2016 onwards.

The box would be able to determine the location and speed of the vehicle in real time. Using a database constantly updated by the provinces and municipalities, an automatic system would analyze the data collected and issue fines to speeding drivers.

Not only would the technology limit the number of deaths linked to speeding incidents, it would also change the driving habits of many motorists. Red-light cameras and photo radar have demonstrated their efficiency around the world and helped generate large sums of money that can be injected into health care, education and infrastructure management.

Tc is studying the possibility of this... Not that it's a done deal or anything. Chances are it's not gonna happen

Même la j'veux pas que le gouvernement sache que j'me suis tué pendant que 3 fille de 16/17 ans me jouais après l'shifter et le sac en même temps que je sniffais une ligne de coke sur l'dash @ 233km/h dans ma SX2.0 qui est sur des pneu d'été à broche

Admettons que c'est pas un poisson d'avril. La dernière étude était sur les radar-photo. Après leur ''étude'' le gouvernement a décidé d'y aller de l'avant et en poser un peu partout. On le sait très bien où ça s'en va leurs études.

En fait si ça arrivait, il y aurait moins de polices sur les routes, alors ceux qui n'en ont pas se feraient moins achaller...

Mais ça n'arrivera pas je pense, ça enfreint trop la liberté des gens.
 
Cela aurait été facile à trouver et arracher cette instrument d'espionnage avoir été vrai anyways....
