Based on previous MB Black Series models and under the covers, this looks like it will be a beast. There will also be a 4 door offering.
You can make out the flared arches and widebody...packing 500+ HP.
This will be a fantastic!!!

can someone tell MB to make it legal in Canada?!!!!!!
it's canada that should make them legal.... theses cars are so perfect, they shouldn't change for our country. but the CLK black serie is illegal here so.. probably not.

monster in a can!
New York, London, Paris... Montreal.

it was illegal because of one small, stupid detail. The CLK chassis are registered as a 2+2 chassis so it needs rear child seat anchors. The BS doesn't have rear seats but it's still considered a 2+2 so this is what made it illegal for import...
But I've seen some people from Alberta importing some, fully legal and registered. I wonder how they did it.
I am looking forward to seeing the final Black series sedan more then the coupe..
From Teamspeed:
These spy-photos show a test mule for the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series undergoing handling testing in Germany. While the wider fenders will not look like the temporary once on this prototype but they will melt in properly to the final design, the 6.2-litre V8 under the bonnet of the car snapped is the actual motor: 510 horsepower via the AMG 7-speed speedshift gearbox, lead to the rear axle. Hopefully there will also be some less weight for the engine to carry around.
The C63 AMG Black Series saloon will be followed by a version of the C63 AMG Coupe later on for those who want the sportier Coupe look. The C63 AMG Coupe Black Series will then be a true successor to the CLK 63 AMG Black Series first showed in 2007.
