L'Express for me.
I went to Kanda for the lunch, just to see if they've been better than before . It's been even worst than before, clearly not returning there.

1. Kejaki (Sushi, on Decarie in St. Laurent, best sushi in town and I have tried a lot)
2. Entrecote St. Jean (Steak and fries, downtown)
3. Mr. Steer for a good burger, on St. Catherine

My parents are sushi buffs. Once a month they usually invite me out for sushi, but when I was younger we'd usually go once a week. I've had Mikasa, Mikada, Kaizen, Japon, Kenda, Tatami, Sushi Shop, etc, and I am definitely forgetting many others... I haven't had Kejaki in a while but it was always extremely fresh and bursting with flavor when I did.

Viana Sol on the south shore... really good and not pricey at all. It's also a bring your own wine !

J'ai vraiment apprécié mes visites au Thaï Grill. (Don't go with your GF is you have yellow fever)
Mikasa sur Peel est aussi très bon, tout comme Mr. Ma à Place Ville-Marie.

Je suis un fan fini de la cuisine française (mon père est français et était chef), mais je suis difficilement impressioné par les offres en ville.

As-tu deja ete a La Coupole? Sinon, beaucoup moins cher Le Bistro Gourmet sur St-Mathieu. Mais bon, si ton pere etait chef, ca va pas etre facile d'etre impressionné...

Passe faire un tour au "Chez Ma Grosse Truie Chérie" ... Fais pas ton cheap et tu seras impressioné.

Depuis que le topic est ouvert, j'ai essaye au moins 5 restos, ca fait mal au porte feuille, lol. Dernierement, c'est les infideles, tellement delicieux.

C'est "Apportez votre vin"... Alors c'est un peu plus cher, mais si tu bois du vin qui a de l'allure, tu sauve quand même assez.

Genre la table d'hote est à 50 pour de quoi de très bien... 100$ à deux et ta bouteille SAQ de mettons 40-50$ ... 100$ + tx + tip = 140$... Tu te retrouve à 200$ pour deux pour une sacré bonne bouffe et une bonne bouteille...

Ca reste tres abordable, quand tu pense qu'une bouteille ordinaire dans un resto cheap comme baton rouge coute autour de 50$ + repas pour deux personnes avec entrées et dessert = 200$.

Au moins aux infideles t'en a pour ton argent et ta bouteille a 50$ le vaut vraiment...

I take what i said about kanda back.. I went there tonight with my gf and all the waiters seemed like they were not happy and taking there time on the order and the sushi wasnt even fresh.. At least the bubbletea taste good

Dont think ill be going back anytime soon

It's not hard to make good bubbletea, lol either cheap sushis. Try Tokyo/Sushi palace instead or if you can afford it get some real sushis mentioned above. IMO, Quality > Quantity.

They all taste the same IMO but try these in chinatown, I used to take the coconut + milk and jelly.
