Bruce (on the board) has shown me a new painting method for a beater or a dd. Here are the details on the said product

http://www.plastidip.com/home_solutions/Plasti_Dip

And you can buy them through this canadian website

Probably some of you guys know this already, but I was pretty impressed on the concept of that thing.

And this is a video I found which shows you how it can be removed without doing any damages to the paint.

Somebody has used this product on his car yet ?

oh mai gawd did a quick research on the board and i'm the not the first to post up that thing. i am still looking for somebody who has used this product on his car anywayz.

I have! It's really nice but it's the same as a vinyle. It's tough so it can handle a bit of scratching. The only downside is after 2-3 years it get hard to remove.

Oh and you can get this at Home Hardware.

intéressant... je pourrais essayer de wrapper mon CVPI en noir mat avec ca... c'est pas comme si ca me dérangeait de butcher la job anyway

I know some guys who have used it on their emblems, door handles, rear diffuser and stock rims...seems to come out real good, but like someone said above, once you go a couple years really hard to remove.

There is some thread somewhere on a Lexus board I think where the guy Plasti Dipped his car, but used a power washer to remove it...ended up removing paint lol.

anyways, you can get some nice results and the best thing, you can just peel it off when you get tired of it

a lot of people do this on their stock wheels to add contrast effects.

And it's extremely popular on cobalt forums to get that ''evo mod''
