Guess Who's Back? Toyota Overtakes GM as World's #1 Automaker

The race to become the world's largest automaker isn't over - VW is also now in the mix.

This ought to make plenty of you rather annoyed. According to a new report from Bloomberg, Toyota Motor Company has once again overtaken General Motors as the world's largest automaker for the first business quarter of 2012.After sales took a dive in the wake of Toyota's unintended acceleration fiasco and the horrific natural disasters that struck Japan in March 2011, the automaker's sales have evidently recovered.

    and natural resources.

i wonder if the new gen tacoma and tundra frame will have better rust resistance than the first generation. toyota use to make good frame prior to 1995. toyota pickup and 4runner ( 1995 - ) frame are very strong, fully boxed and 3/16 thick, they don't rust more than other frame. but when they start making frames in the usa it went bad lol.

This. I remember doing a recall when i was an intern in the garage. Company pays 10working hours to replace the frame when it takes nearly around 15. Fun as hell to do tho...great learning experience
