In the 1990's, 14's was fast.
In the 2000's, 13's was fast.
We're in the 2010's and IMO you need to run at least 12's to be considered fast now. Too many cars run 13's, it doesn't mean that they're all fast. As time goes on, cars are becoming more and more powerful, so it's natural for the the term "fast" to change its meaning.
Also, none of those are low 13's car. Unless I'm mistaken, they're mid-13's.

I agree with you about the interior, but it's not the same platform![]()

I know I know, but if you compare it to a 2010 Camry SE (not the one you posted) a bunch of bins and shit are the same
I know most people prolly don't care, but it would make me rage to pay $80k and have anything even remotely related to a Camry

I like the FedEX man because he's a drug dealer and don't even know it

A friends dad went from a Legacy GT to the IS350 and wishes he had never made the change. IMO the IS has shit steering feel.

The new M3's and IS-F need the extra ~100hp though, they weight like 300 lbs more than their predecessors. Same thing with the Evo's and STi's.
Evo IX could have weighted as little as 2880 lbs, the Evo X can weight as much as 3500 lbs. Wtf is that haha

Slow compared to what exactly? How many street cars out there run low 13s (like the E46 M3 does)? I'm obviously talking all cars. When probably about 90% of the cars sold in Canada every year are in the 16 to 18 sec range, low-13s sounds pretty fast to me. Of course if you only look at the very small niche group of people with high power modified cars, then yeah, it's probably on the slow side.
It's the same mother company that produces them so it's not surprising.
Check an R8 and a Lambo inside and you might just find certain trim pieces that you see on some Vw and Audi cars, for example.

Hp isn't that relevant. There's many cars with 300hp, they're not all in the 13s. Not even in the 14s. Some are even in the 16's!
and "every street corner" is an exageration. Those are the top of the line trims from each model and they will not be the majority of the sales even within their own model, let alone the whole class, let alone the total car sales. Percentage wise, GTs, SSs, M3s, SRTs and the likes represent a very very small part of the total # of cars out there. They just jump out at us when we see them exactly because they are more flashy and we don't notice that for every car of that caliber there were 100 Civics+100Grand Caravans + 100 Corollas + 50 Elantras + + + +.
