ASE Lapping Club - Time Attack 2013 - Quels sont vos plans???

Salut à tous!!!

Alors, vous avez aimé votre saison de Time Attack? Moi oui entk... La BMW a été surutilisée mais elle a quand même tenu le coup pour gagner RWD-STR et finir 2e overall... Et comme nous pensons déjà à la saison 2013, je me demandais si vous aviez des plans?

J'ai été déçu de voir si peu de participation dans les classes MOD et RACE pour RWD et AWD et je songeais peut-être à faire le saut vers RWD-MOD. J'ai roulé 59.2 avec les RS-3 et je suis sûr que rouler un 58.5 aurait été possible...

J'ai depuis changé le différentiel (3.73 + 60% lock) et je pense que la voiture va être beaucoup plus rapide. Je viens aussi d'acheter une remorque pour la voiture... donc cet hivers, on la met encore sur une diète: objectif 200 lbs de moins. Et on va ajouter l'aéro. Aileron, Splitter, Dive Planes... J'ai confiance de voir les temps pas mal baisser... Alors, qui roule ou? Qui veut peupler RWD MOD avec moi? Objectif 57.xx?
 
Pour ma part, je prévois une diète de 200lbs sur la voiture et quelque changements de mon setup de suspension.

J'aimerais bien rouler du bas 57s l'an prochain. Mon meilleur temps cet année est 58.1s donc ça devrait être possible à réaliser.

I'm pretty sure I can make it into the 57s with my MOD tires. Every time I think I know the ASE track I learn something new...

No clue with Hoosiers, never tried them anywhere.
 
Sign me up for RWD Street again. :bigup:

The car should be about 100 lbs lighter next year, and I have a couple changes in mind for the alignment. I don't want to make any drastic changes; imroving my driving is the priority. Maybe a lap timer with predictive timing? I'm hoping for mid 58's next year on the RS3's (best this year was 59.05X).

Oktay, stay and play in STREET.
 
I still will have plenty or rubber left on the RS3s so will most likely at least start the year in RWD-Street. Will see after that.

Plans for the bimmer:

0- Work on the driving
1- Weight reduction at least 250lbs while keeping the car SCCA SM solo class legal
2- Roll-bar + harness + race seats
3- Intercooler setup for the blower
4- Aero -time permitting

Target is 58.something at ASE on street tires...

We need an official count... I don't know... should I continue playing in RWD Street or should I help populate RWD mod.. Regardless, RWD Street or RWD Mod are BMW dominated classes! :)

It aint official until you run transponders. We can consider the potential if it was with a real GPS lap timer, but again this is just hearsay.......lol
 
Nobody wants to come and play with me? :)

With the engine out of the car and now fully rebuilt with forged internals, I'm in the process of figuring out what to do to the rest of the car for the winter.

Full stand-alone
Mild porting to the head and new cams
Better cooling
Simpler oiling system

God knows what else... But I'll probably stay in RWD race :)
