The owner of this car requested anonymity, so there won't be a introductory story on him. The car was picked up last Friday and was brought to me a few days later with 200 kms on the clock. After doing some reading on-line, the owner decided to go with a permanent protection. Having searched on BMW forums for detailers in Montreal offering the service, he was referred to me by a fellow detailer in Toronto and gave me a call. After talking for a while, he decided to go for the Silver Detail Package and chose to upgrade it with Wolf's Body Wrap on the paint, lights and wheels. On to the write-up!

Having been driven only 200 kms, there was not much visible dirt on the car, however, you can see here by these close-up shots that there was quite a bit of contamination.
The weather getting colder, and the car being relatively clean, I decided to do the first wash inside with Elegance Waterless Wash.
Once cleaned, I got to decontaminating it with Iron-X, followed by the clay bar.
After an hour and a half of washing, decon and claying, I brought the car outside, where the temperature had gotten a little friendlier, to do a final wash and degrease on the car. I started by washing the wheels and then moved on to foaming the car.
Then the car was dried off and brought inside again. After a quick lunch break, I got to work with the paint cleaner system.

While making my way around the car, I noticed a VERY nasty scratch on the top of the rear bumper. It looked to be caused by very dirty wash media having something stuck in it. It's a little hard to capture with a white car, but look in the reflection of the neon and you'll see it spanning across the bumper.
Corrected.
Once I finished going around, I cleaned it off with 2 IPA wipe-downs just to be safe and to make sure the Body Wrap would adhere properly.
While the Body Wrap was curing, I took care of the windows. The usual treatment, Aquapel on the windshield and backglass and Rain-X on the side windows.
On to the final shots.
