I thought this was good:

Until I tried this:

Then I had this by mistake (which I think I wasn't ready to fully appreciate just yet at the time):

And by then, I realized I really like Whisky so I decided to start a collection. Went to SAQ, got both Cragganmores (coup de coeur). As well as this:

Which is amaaazing for the price. I know it's a bourbon... but honestly, at half the price of Cragganmore, it is the best deal I've made yet.

Then I got the Glenfarclas 30y to replace the one I drank that wasn't mine (what a mistake lol).

Being broke after the Glenfarclas, I wanted something cheap and got this (which is the equivalent in price to Jack Daniel's... but oh so much better):

And this, just because it's Canadian and ultra-cheap (which is still better than Jack Daniel's, especially for mixing purposes (because whisky and coke is waaay better than rum and coke in my humble opinion)):

So what should I get next? I always had a little something for this :

So I thought about getting the same thing but 15y... but I'm guessing that I'm going to pay a little to much just for the name... amirite?

What is your favorite whisky/scotch/bourbon and why ?
Also, just out of curiosity, is there anything worse than Jack Daniel's?

Please aware me MR. Most of you must have at least a bottle of Glenfarclas 30y lying next to your Hennessey XO, your Patron, your Grey Goose and especially your Grand Marnier, right?

Jack Daniels is not meant to be sipped like a traditional aged whisky.... Whats worst then JD? St-Leger is pretty awful!

I myself love a good Johnny Walker blue label... The Macallan is nice too!!!

Cheers

Depends what I'm in the mood for.

Smokey/Peaty heaven - Ardbeg 10
Smooth, fruity, sherry taste - Macallan 12
Overall best, caramel coffee deliciousness - Glenfarclas 14 (12 is also very very good)
Biggest surprise/very different from the rest/ Very sweet and almost dessert-like - Scapa 16

Well, I'm more bourbon than scotch...

Woodford Reserve < My go to bourbon, usually after work. Smooth and easy, and only $45/750ml.
Woodford Double Oaked < My Friday Night Bourbon, to celebrate another defeated work week. Hard to find in Canada, all over the USA.

Maker's 46 - My pre-drink bourbon if I want to go out and have fun/partaay.
Knob Creek - My pre-drink bourbon if I want to go out and break things.
Bulleit Bourbon - My "Man activity" drink, usually I drink this while chopping wood, or shooting skeet with the old 12ga side by side - Mostly a Sunday bourbon.

You should try and get Wild Turkey Rare Breed if you liked the original one, its much more refined.

Also, I had a chance to try a Canadian Whiskey that was actually quite decent - It's called Collingwood:

It's actually really good!
I'm having a small sip right now as I get ready for work :)

Basically OP tried 20-30 years old aged whiskey and bought Canadian Club, 9 yo Bourbon and other shitty ''whiskeys''. Should've bought one bottle instead of something good.

Right now, I only have Glenlivet 21 and Glenmorangie 18 left. Should be buying another bottle before Christmas.
