Here we have a subaru that needed some love ; the owner was going to repaint some part of the car and wanted to rest of the car to look great so I recommended him a 2-step polish in this case and result were great. I don’t recall this paint to be as bad as the newer Subaru paint so that’s a good thing.
Process:
2-step polish
Finished with Raceglaze RG55
Initial condition:
Tried to show the difference once polished. One side has been polished. All the swirls were removed leaving the black paint with more depth. Swirls always make the paint faded a bit.
And after:
This spot was a bit worse which I had to do a second pass:
Paint reading is always important to make sure you don’t burn throught the paint:
And once both step were done, I was left with this shine, masking tape still to be removed and paint needed wax:
So that it for today, I didn’t take any after final pictures, totally forgot about it and started talking with the owner haha!
