Apparently in the last couple of months-year the price of the countaches have skyrocketed. I don't fucking understand why though. This was my attainable dream car, now it's just a dream car like the f40

No, 'cause the appearance of Konigsegg, Bugatti (others?) have revived interest and prices on similar looking but museum worthy pieces of still (?) rolling art - plus the cost of parts for the latter. A dream car for the masses today is likely a kit car. e.g. self-build Ultima
