So, I just pick up my very first and only digi cam (canon a75) This thing is awesome and can do anything. But what I am looking for is some help on the features like focues, iso, aperture etc etc... Maybe some examples and description of photos? like those sick pics taken by ozzy, know anyone anwhere on net???

usually the camera's manual has good explanations on those. Did you look in your manual?

Make sure you read and understand your manual. Then you can buy a book about photography, for example Outdoor Photography which usually explains everything you need to know about exposure and composition of most photographs.

You can't just go and *poof* learn everything about photography. Its an art and it takes time. The basics are easy though.

Personally, when I bought my first SLR, I read the manual about 3 times and read a book about photography in general, that got me a start. Now I go to a photo forum that is really good and has lots of advanced people who can help you.

I have the same Digital Camera and I love it. I bought it 2 weeks ago. :D

I bought the A70 but returned it after a week because I found it too big. Instead I got the Nikon 3700 and I love it. It nice and small and I can take it everywhere.

I have a Canon A70. I had a Canon A75 for a month. Basically the same camera except the screen is a bit bigger on the A75. I'm starting to get used to the features on it. If you are intrested in joining a forum...here is a good link. The guys there are real real good at taking pics and they all have Canons.

I'm at work right now, so I dont have access to alot of my other pics that I have at home... don't have that many online.... Most of these were taken when I was still learning my camera!

what do you want to know about these settings?

I have the a70... it's an awesome camera packed with features!!!

i took some nice night shots of niagara falls last weekend!

Shutter open for 15 seconds at F5.6 ISO50 with infinite focus... It's terribly hard to focus well at night... so i set it to infinite...

keep in mind i'm a newb when it comes to this, but i'm understanding these features more and more everyday... I know what they mean and how to use them... just probably a real photographer knows how to use them efficiently... :D hehe

lol of course not. I have absolutly ZERO experience in taking pictures. Like I said I just bought it 2 weeks ago and I am learning to use some of the features.
