my transmissions were very strong...but I had 3 bad converters *banghead*
I think the converter guy got a bad batch of bearings or somethin because i had pieces of them everywere in the transmission. the 3rd trans laster 3 hours :bigup:
I paid only the first trans, the 2 other were free. The one i'm running right now has a race converter from JCF that the guy had built for his personal race car (runs low 11's), he installed this one instead of the junk from the TC guy in Drumondville. Runs great!! :)
 
How much $$?? and did you have to pay for the labour or taking down and re installing your 3 transmissions? or did the builder pay?

I paid nothing for the 2 defective ones...he even paid the towing from Dorion to Laval.
The first converter i bought was worth around 300$...he replaced it with one that's worth 600$ at no charge.... :)

And he billed everything to that dumba$$ in Drumondville :laugh: :laugh:

T'es rendus à 4 transmissions??? ça te tente pas d'upgrader... au pire, une bonne vieille TH400 avec shift kit...

Tu roules toujours une 4L60E ou une 700R4???

Je roule une 4L60E.
Le trouble c'est pas la transmission. Les torque converter que j'ai eu avaient des mauvais bearings dedant, donc y'avais plein de morceau de bearing dans mon huile *banghead* ...c'est arrivé deux fois.... :(

Le premiere c'était la stock (elle est morte de cause naturelle lol), la deuxieme j'ai eu un trouble de TC, la troisieme aussi (elle a duré 3 heures avant d'exploser), la je roule sur la 4e. Elle vas bien en sacrament! le TC est bon, et la transmi vas super bien. Quand j'ai fait construire la transmi le gars savais que le char vas avoir des slicks et du N2O bientot....il est supposé de l'avoir fait en conséquence!

mon char est un daily driver, je vais travailler avec a tous les jours...donc je ne suis pas pret a sacrifier mon overdrive. C'est pas un char de course...c'est juste un char de rue :D

hahaha excuse-moi, c'est juste que j'ai revu le film dernièrement et j'ai fait un travail d'analyse dessus et laisse-moi te dire que Kubrick feel pas.... hahaha

Tu peux pas dire mieux !!! Assez freak comme producteur !!! Avec l'Halloween qui s'en vient, ca me donne le gout d'écouter le Shinning sur un big screen avec le volume du cinéma maison de le tapis.....

Je fesais juste des blagues sur l'avatar dans l'autre post !!! Il est nice celui que tu as choisis !

I can't tell you what his trunk looked like...he was the one looking at mine :D
 
That's my friend's car......if I could I would have went to see how well he did because apparently he kicked alot of asses.....
