Quand on fait un rebuild d'un moteur, est-ce que le nombre de kilometre que le moteur a rouler est important ? ou bien on l'oublie, vu qu'on change tous les internes ?

Peut-etre niaiseux, mais j'ai jamais lu quelque chose la dessus :dunno:

the more KMs, the more damage on the engine, generally the more work it will be to bring it back up to spec.

as long as the parts are still within spec, then they are fine to use (we are talking core compenents, not gaskets, seals, bearings, etc.) However the more wear and tear, the more parts there are with a probability of needing to be replaced.

EDIT: but generally for many things it wont matter, and it is proper practice to replace them. things such as pistons would idealy be replaced in favor for the engine to be over-bored (again, this is IDEALY, you can do whatever you want). It just comes down to what is still good and what isnt... the only way to find out is open it up and take a gander at the partz.
