how many months left on the lease? And the $1000 is dollars is in cash or the down payment you put? Also, I have a '03 golf(leased) I want to transfer if you are interested.
 
Ok, I gave the dealer 1000$ cash down when I picked up the car. wich made the payments lower (obviously) AND I'm giving 1000$ to whoever takes over the car..
The car is due back at the dealer in january 2008.. so that makes 26 month or just about..
I would need more info on your golf but my goal is to save major cash.. send me an IM with the info (payments, pictures, lease end, etc.)
 
well, I was just gonna call my insurance to see how much I'd be saving.. ah well.. I guess that means that I'd consider cheap Lease transfers on any VWs as long as it's shorter or equivalent...
 
Nope.. I was seriously considering your car though.. let me know if you change your mind.. one thing's for sure, if you can afford it, you won't regret driving this soon to be legend! ;)
 
I know....I'm looking into maybe a '02 GTI. I know it ain't an anniversary edition but it's a GTI. If you get rid of your and you still want mine, just look me up.
 
This is a yr newer and it's already nicely modded.. Gee let me think.. save 2k on a yr older car or spend the couple bucks more and get something that's really nice... :rolleyes:
 
:)...Unfortunately it is not a question of only 2K....2 yrs @ $500/month compared to 1yr @ $500/month is more that 2K plus ins. will be higher on the
'03 anniversary edt.
 
is there still a warranty on this thing? i might be quiting school to work for a bit so gimme more info plz
 
It's a 1.8T with basic mods.. just adding a turboback exhaust will add about 25hp and 25lbs of Tq.. and there's plenty more room to grow! :D
Right now it's at 240HP and 270lbs/ft (crank obviously)

The warranty is still on until January 2005 or 80 000kms.. I don't know what else I can say.. If you have any Qs, just give me a call at 514-994-0900 I speak both french and English..

Yes you can get an extended warranty on purchase

What do you mean? Me buying the extended warranty? I can't do that because I'm on a lease.. It can be done when the lease is changed for a purchase.. I'm already losing over 2 000$ AND all the parts that come with.. we're looking at about 5-6 000$ that I'm losing to get rid of this car!!

If you want to go to the dealer with me tomorow, we discuss it.. I'm willing to move a little bit on the price of the car.. I have no clue how much the extended warranty would be so I can't just throw that in blindly..

Give me a call and we'll see what we can arrange..
