h22a n/a : wich header ?

je suis entrain de monter mon h22a n/a.

voici le setup qui va etre fait dans 2 semaines :

head porting (hardcore)
intake porting (iab removed)
cams cat-cams stage 2
pistons nippon racing 11.1:1 cr
chromoly lightweight flywheel (10 lbs)
exhaust line 2.5''

je me demandais quel header mettre : h22a oem, h22a type-s ou autre ?

le header H22 OEM est pareil sur tous les modèles, incluant les Type-S et Euro-R. C'est juste le downpipe qui est un peu plus gros sur les type-S et Euro-R.

Le meilleur header que tu peux avoir c'est le SMSP.

As for the exhaust....2.5" is a tad small IMO. For a serious setup...2.75" or even 3" for madness...

Umm...you make it seem that resonators some how hinder flow... :dunno:

PS - 2.5 and 3", there is a big difference, but to speculate over which one gets a cat :dunno:...and seeing that this is all aftermarket, it would be a highflow in both cases, no?

@ grat master: The difference between the merge collector and street I believe is the angle at which the primaries, well, merge. Merge collectocr is less suden, more gradual integration into one pipe, and a street collector is a more sudden merging. I can't be sure on this however. If some1 else could confirm, or correct me.

I'm just frustrated that an-r isn't sending me back any answer about shipping costs ... everything will be done next week, and I'm still looking out for a header.

for now the setup will be in my accord : 2.5'' front to back, 20'' resonator, 11236 magnaflow muffler, no cat, mendral bent, no flange at all ...

after the winter, I'm planning on getting a 92-95 civic hatchback, swappin in it the n/a build h22a, and running 75shot of zex (only for 1/4mile)...

anyway, je vais me contenter de refaire le block la semaine prochaine et d'aller faire tuner sa ! j'espere sortir pas loin du 200whp ... on verra pour le reste apres l'hiver

si vous avez d'autes info pour le header an-r, moi ils veulent pas me repondre ...
