(Take 40 East or West, wherever you're coming from, exit at Boul. des Sources, and head towards Sources North all the way to Gouin and turn left onto Gouin, Twist & Creme will be on your right after a stop sign or two)

Once we have rallied everyone together at Meeting point #2, we will go over aspects of the day's ride, including:
- Safety
- Riding rules
- Route
- Set up order of riders, with fully licensed riders spread out through the group. (there should be no passing of others during the trip. Please try to remain at your assigned position during the ride)
- Identify who will do only LEG1 and who will do complete trip. Assuring that there is fully licensed riders always for the apprentice riders.
- Identify contact #'s in case of emergency, or you get lost
- Make sure everyone's gassed up (eh Munchy? :p )

Once that is all taken care of, we'll head out to St-Eustache from there.
- Take Gouin East to 13 North
- Take 13 North to 640 West
- Take 640 West to Exit Blvd Arthur Sauvé
- Stop at parking lot at shopping area there, and make sure everyone's ready.

Due to many requests, we've decided to separate the journey into two legs.

Above map explained:

- 148 West to Lachute (Route Principale)
- Left at Route Principale to Route 327
- Route 327 to Mont-Tremblant
- Arriving in Tremblant we can rest for lunch (Suggestions for SPOT?)
- Leave Mont-Tremblant after lunch, take Route 117 South to Ste-Agathe
- Route 117 meets Hwy 15 here. We can look for a place to stop (Gas-station, big parking) at this point to assess how everyone is doing, and see who wants to continue on to next leg of the journey.
- Depart to St-Eustache OR continue to next leg of journey

Total Est. Time: 3 hours, 0 minutes Total Est. Distance: 175 km
(Estimated time is based at speed limit, and will be less time)

Those of you who have decided to only complete this leg of the journey, can easily hop on to the 15S or 117S and take a leisurely ride back to St-Eustache or home. The journey back to St-Eustache from this stop will take approximately 50mins.

If you feel up to going on to the rest of the journey, then you can continue on to the second leg of the journey, taking you along the rest of the way like this:

LEG B (Right-click/Save this pic to print)
tremblant-route-2.gif

- Route 329 to Route 125
- Route 125 to Route 347
- Route 347 to Route 343 (Stop here for rest, head count)
- Route 343 to Route 337
- Route 337 to Rawdon (Stop rest, for gas)
- Continue Route 337 until it merges with Route 125 South
- Route 125 South until it merges with Hwy 25 South
- Hwy 25 South to Hwy 640 West
- Hwy 640 West to Hwy 13 South
- Hwy 13 South to Hwy 40 West
- Hwy 40 West to Exit Sources
- Sources to Shopping parking lot / Gas station.

Completing the rest of the journey will take an additional 3 hours . Total Est. TOTAL trip Time: 6 hours. Total Est. Distance: 388 km
(Estimated time is based at speed limit, and will be less time)

It is important that we try to establish who is interested in what part of the journey before we leave... as we have several new 6A-Apprentice riders (me being one of them) who will need to be accompanied back home.

We could also simply decide to do LEG A only on sunday if everyone agrees.

KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER:

- This will be an easy ride. We have MANY riders with apprentice license only. Please try to refrain from stunts or other dangerous maneuvers that could endanger others.

- A ride order will be established before we leave. Those with full licenses will be divided evenly into the large group and will be assigned group leader for their small group. A fully licensed rider will be at the end as well.
Please remain in your assigned position and do not pass other riders. This is going to be a large group, and keeping safety for everyone in traffic will depend on this rule.

- Lane changes will be will be conducted in sections, with each group leader beginning and ending the lane change, followed by members of that small group.

- Flashers are ALWAYS to be used to indicate directions. Group leaders will/can also use arm indications.

- Maintain a constant speed, and do not "Elastic" from each other.

- Each and every rider will be responsible for the person ahead and behind him. If someone ahead or behind you has mechanical problems, please alert the rider in front of you with your horn, and stop. It will be easier for the whole group to stop and help this way.

- Everyone will be handed a copy of the maps and directions. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask BEFORE we leave. If you get lost or have another emergency, several phone numbers will be available to call and reach the group.

- At intersections, we will ride as smaller groups with each group leader maintaining lead until the whole group is back together again.

Please remember that riding in a group is very different than riding alone, and if the above points are not taken seriously it could lead to a dangerous event.

U guys dont need to worry about that, I'm always in big groups riding and cops have yet to say a peep about anything!

Have fun boyz

Now im all about safety but was just curious to know on the speed we will be ridding...I hope its not like 100 km/hr

I think it would be a good idea to divide the groups in function of EXPERIENCE and PACE.. IE : group 1 (Advanced) , group 2 ( Intermediate) and so on...

Stopping in ST_EUSTACHE will be a good plan since well be able to re-arrange or tweek the groups accordingly...

Anyways ..im off to bed...gotta work Tonight..Ill be online past Midnight...

Bike will be sooo prepped for tomorrow!

New rear tire!
Cleaned and lubed chain!
New oil + filter!

Wooooo

BURNOUT IN MY DRIVEWAY TO BREAK IN TIRES! WOOOO
