Where to Paint Skirts?

Hey everyone,

My friend has a set of side skirts and front lip that he needs painted and he was wondering where to go.

He doesnt want to spend a fortune but wants a decent job done.

Normally he would hit up Automotion, but he wants to try and save some $$ for the time being.

Anyone have any other places? or prices?
 
Sideskirts and lips don't really show IMO. My friends painted theirs with spray paint with matched color and it doesn't show at all. Just got to take your time to do it.

Thing is their cars are black or white and I swear it doesn't show the paint is buffed and all it comes out really nice.

I wouldn't pay to get them painted , they get beat up(rocks , rubbing) pretty good usually so its a good thing to not put to much money on it.
 
This topic has been beaten to death. Any bodyshop. All bodyshops are different, yes, so tell your friend to bring the pieces to get painted and get some quotes.

low ballers paint them with sprey paint do it properly thats y mtl cars look like crap cuz guys dont put the money in them

Yes and smart people like u buy their lips 100$ each and then spends 100$ on each to paint them, nice move:bigup:

hahahahahhah well said :bigup: i went to Fuzzy Laval last night...some cars looked nice, but ive never seen so many dropped civics with engines that sound like sh**...oh, and they werent dropped like...normally...they werent even! its like cutting your springs is a trend around here :run:
 
I bet you 100 dollars that you could NOT tell the difference from their lips and their normal paint job ;) Painted, and wet sanded with a clear over it. It looks perfect.

Their so smooth its unbelievable. I wouldn't be able to do a job like that, thats why I'm paying for the paint and their doing the job.

When the time comes I'll fork the money on my car, but for now... i got other priorities than putting 400 dollars on lips that get scratched and nicked paint.

hahahahaha*tu*, i painted mine with dupi color spray paint and clear coat and it looks great, dont hate!

Dude.. are you still talking about the painted lips or cars in general? ..

1) Roads in US are better, thus encouraging people to put MORE money into their cars to run faster on GOOD roads.

2) Montreal roads suck, thus making people more AWARE of the shit that can happen due to the roads, and therefore not spend as much on their cars.

if anyone wants to paint something small i paint with air gun in my garage... i'm cheap and i do good jobs :D
 
I will have 2 side skirts already painted that i need to change color (dark blue to dark red) a rear skirt and front skirt, plus a front bumper to get painted...

Automotion quoted me about 900$ to get them all painted, but thats abit steep for me..

I want a really good job for the front bumper, the skirts i worry less..but i'll be looking for a good overall job at a decent price
 
i paid $200 to have two painted, fitted and mounted and the quality is very good.
