hey People whats up, Tony Here.

I'm seeking advice on different coilover setups.

I have a 2004 TSX. currently I have NeuSpeed race springs on.
2.25" front and 1.75"rear.

the car rides fantastic, the front is flush, but there is abit of gap in the rear. I was VERy temped to cut the rear springs to get the tucked look, but backed out from fear that it would mess up the balance of the car.

If any remember I had the LavaOrange Mazda 3. I cut all four springs on a set of progress technology springs, it work out perfect and the car was tucked all around.

I'm very temped to buy the Tein Basic Coilovers for the TSX, this would solve this problem. it would come to about $1,100 taxes in. plus intallation.

But I also noticed on ebay, a set of Skunk2 coilovers for much more cheap, like only $300. they would go over the stock shocks, and allow me to adjust up to 3" which would be sick. but from who've I've asked all suggested against that setup.

anyways what do you think

Thanks
Tony.

You shouldnt cut anything in a suspension setup.

If you want to adjust the height of the car to your tase buy a good coilove like the Tein basic... they are average in term of handling capacity but they will do the job for the street. They will also beat the cutted spring setup and probably your setup that you have now because the damper are made for the good spring rate.... your stock damper are not really made to handle the Neuspeed race spring.

Just in case you dont know DC sport header had no power at all

if you want power you have to go with Raceheader or stay with stock one

hi,

ah ya? are you sure. how can it not offer any power gains?

Which raceheaders? the only other headers I'm aware of is from Comptech.

well, I'm no mechanic, but I did alot a research before ordering it from RMR on a groupBuy. the independant reviews that I read showed almost a 10hp gain on dyno runs. especially if combined with aftermarket intake and exhaust.

well its too late now, the headers are already ordered. I'm confident it will give a noticeble gain.

I'm curious, Where you heard about that.

Anyone else hear this?

thanks
Tony.

well a header wont give you a 10 whp gain but it will help for sure !

Get a good quality coilover like the Tein basic or the Tein SS since you have a really good car for your project.

Contact APH DC5 ( www.autotechp.com ) he can get you them for a good price. I got two set from him already.

Tein seems popular among tsx communities.

I hear good things about H&R COs.

How'd it be on a tsx? Ne ideas?
