Je voulais juste savoir si je chip mon 1.8T 2001 si la fiabilité moteur va rester bonne ? thanks*tu*

GIAC is what I have always been recommended, but its your pocket and your car, look at the chip war from back in the day at TRAC

Hey, I understand your worries. It's your car, so do as best you think! If you feel better with Giac, go with Giac!

Ask them, why they tune their software by eliminating the knock sensor protection! Outch, that's hard on the engine!

Software as E-V-O-L-V-E-D! ;)

Friend of mine has been running GIAC on his Jetta for ages...Not a single problem, and he also has a lot more than a chip.

I understand there's some rivalry between you guys (without it, things wouldn't be like they are today) but sometimes, the way the tune their chip is their own way, and they might have their secrets. Besides if they have been around for all this time, it might be for a reason!

This isn't to bash Unitronic, far from, I'm actually quite happy with the fact that it's someone from here that is getting quite up there! Personally, I don't know which one I'd chose. I have been quite impressed with GIAC so far but I would have to see some from Unitronic before comparing.

So this is for Unitronic
And this is for GIAC:bigup:

No rivalry! Everyone does their thing! No one is bashing no one!
The choice belongs to the car owner! ;)

I said rivalry, but I meant more Competition. Without it, thing wouldn't be as great as they are.

I would go and try Unitronic, they have a 30 day money back warranty. Very good idea if you ask me!

But one thing that would make me lean towards GIAC, you can buy the "Remote" (if you want) and you can switch it back to stock.

unitronic did miracles on my car and its so good to have them so close they just amaze me with the updates i get once in a while

Yup gadget are fun!
But do you really know what they do?

It's those things that you don't know you don't know! ;)

No rivalry, no competition! Each makes good products! It's for to consumer to make their choice and their research on what makes them happy!
