Check it out what you guys think? I notice alot of companies are able to easily produce Lotus elise/exige spinoffs with just about the same results and specs. If I had money for a track car I would definetly have a hard time between the Lotus and it's competitors:

I don't mind the plastic-look back... since I don't see it while driving

but I DO mind the door... looks so cheap, all flat.. lifeless.

I think I've been spoiled too much with Audi interiors.
 
If i was looking at a car like this the only thing id take over an Elise/Exige is the Sunspeed Elise ( www.sunspeed.com/ ) powered By a honda Motor... That or an Ariel Atom :)

That's interesting, but does that mean you gotta spend the $50,000 plus anothe $6,500 for this kit??? or is there a way to completely build the exise up from the ground and mount this engine?

I know what you mean. But someone in the market for these cars obviously does not care about the interior that an Audi can provide.

If you own an Elise and want the swap then you pay on top. You can buy complete cars from Sun (in the u.k. anyway) but im not sure of the price difference between this and a regular Elise.

i would never, ever drive something like that. I don't care if it competes with the exige/elise, those cars are super hawt and this one looks like some hot wheels gone wrong :ugh:
