So here the deal I bring the cord to civic honda to get some body work done due to an accident that required the whole back bumper to be replaced (insurance job). I get it back and it looks good as new, whatever it was just a bumber replacment. So I look at it now and realize that there are hairline paint scratches as if it is about to peel off. So my concern is that theese guys did a half ass paint job on the new bumper. I guess that exactly what they did.
F**%*%& Civic honda piece a #$*($%*% neva again will i @#**$ mother #$*E$*4

To top it all off i remeber the hassle they gave me just to get this job done in the first place. they had the car at the garage for about 5 weeks. man i tell you these #*#*&%%&

Nevertheless, anybody know any good body/paint shops? or what can i do b4 paint starts to peel?

look man what they did is simple they didn't take the godd primer for your bumper it's a special primer for plastic and it cost alot more so that's why it's peeling of , sorry bro.:dunno:

wow
thats sucks man sorry to hear.
but i must say i am suprised. i had a bumper redone just like 2 months ago cause of an accident and they did such a good job. the service was like none other and the job came out perfect..
the girl who works there at the counter(body shop area) is very good and understanding and im sure if you go to speak with them they will find a solution.
hope it all works out.

Honda dealerships are complete morons. Had so many problems with them, they always try to screw you by changing parts for no reason and bill you the most they can, while sometimes a bit of thinking is required to fix it cheaply.

Never going back there again. BTW what dealership did you go to?

BTW if you want an excellent body shop (where I got my bumper fixed), just PM me. It's not the cheapest of them all but what I learned over time is that the 'You get what you pay for' rule is particularly true for body shops. I know ppl going to cheap unexperienced guys to save a 500$ and got stuck with leaks, a bad paint job and had to start all over again.

thanks guys for the input, I guess i will bring it back this week and see what they tell me. I will update on the progress
Stay tuned...

Honda dealership in DDO, Garage Civic, worked on my civic in 99. They repaired some rust on the quarter panel and repainted the whole quarter panel. it looked good and the job was done ok.... But that was 4 years ago. Maybe things have changed...

same thing happened to my cousin. he got into an accident a while ago and civic DDO did a piss poor job. he got rear ended recently and took it to a private garage. the guy knew immediately that it had been in a previous accident and that whoever fixed it did a bad job. moral of the lesson: if you're buying the car, take it to body shop professionals.
