Another Canadian Tire rant.

I recently had a wheel alignment done at Canadian Tire after some extensive suspension and steering work that had been done at another garage.

Now, my newish front tires are drastically worn out on the inside. As such, I had decided to take the car to another garage to check the alignment. We're talking not even two months after the first so called alignment.

Long story short, the mechanic said that the alignment from Canadian Tire was never done! Now I have to replace two new tyres and I've been jipped 70$ for an alignment.

This is the Canadian Tire on Sources, by the way.

Just another Canadian Tire warning/Rant for you guys.

I'm going to attempt to get some restitution from Canadian Tire. Any suggestions on how to go about this?

maybe they did in fact do the alignment, but you drive so bad that you might have hit a few too many potholes and damaged your alignment again?

Short of hitting a sidewalk or a giant pothole (which would have some damage) An alignment will only change a few degrees

a few degrees here and there....you never know...

I'm not pointing the finger at him, I've never seen him drive, I'm just saying it's a possibility...it just seems to easy to always blame canadian tire every time something goes wrong with your car...

I've had my older cars fixed there 3 times because I was stuck with no other choice, but still never had any problems...

I specialze in alignments, i've seen terrible jobs done before where although the wheel was straight the tires still wore out fast.

Lee i'd like to see the print out from CT if possible

Hehe, I'm not "that" bad of a driver, lol!

I'll post the CT read out tomorow.

There are no modifications to the suspension, btw.

As promised, here is the readout from CT.

Now, it seems to be out of spec. So it's my fault for not going through it earlier, but I don't understand how they could have let the car go like that? This car was never in a smash and the steering and suspension components are A-1.

What a lazy asshole he never did he never aligned the rear of the car!!!! that plays a huge role and christ the front toe isnt even in spec!!!!!!!

Toe kills tires...I was lazy on my alignment after i changed suspension and wore the inside of my winters pretty badly from the toe-in.

Always always have a 4 wheels allignement at least and check the damm sheet u would notice before even going out u weren't in the spec.
