Need some help

Hey guys, I was on my way home tonight when my mk3 golf cl (the crappy 1.8 8v) just died on me. I checked it out a bit to see what the problem might be. The only thing i saw was that there wasn't any spark to the motor. Any ideas what it might be? Coilpack? thanks in advance for your help.

Check your coil, distributor, cap, wires and finally sparkplugs. That should take no more than 30 minutes.

When i checked the connection from the coilpack to the distributor, i didn't see any spark there. If that helps you guys a bit.

Top of my head here, on the coil, you have the big wire that goes to the distributor and 2 or 3 small gauge ones. Check those, make sure the terminals are clean and so on.
