while i was driving the car i hit a bit pothole.
it dented the front and rear steel rim on the passenger side that I could live with and maybe bang back out with a hammer.
but the front new tire developed a big blister on the sidewall.
can i write a letter to the city demanding money for a new tire?

i remember in the past some members did with dented rims and got new ones.

help???

i doubt that it will work but if you bought your tires at caca tire or something like that you should have some sort of road warranty I believe.

My rim got owned by a pothole last year, and I had to pay everything myself. The towing even messed up my exhaust line, and I also had to pay for that.

You can go through the hassle of taking pics of the pothole, complain, etc etc, and you might get it. In the end, it wasn't worth it for me, cause my tire was still good, just the bend in my rim (which cost $60 to repair) was all I needed.

I'm pretty sure they said you're ****ed if it's limited to tires and wheels, only suspensions are covered.

Anything related to suspension components are covered by the city, but you need a police report and pictures I think. I'm not sure about steering components tho.

if only i knew it before i would of tried against the city of greenfield park when i blew 2 shock on my car...The worst part they where 3 months old only and kyb agx... coste me a 300$ to rechane to stock.

my lil bro was driving my car and just lost the front skid plate... should i bother trying to get money from the city or just go ahead and repair it?

i read in the paper the other day that you need to prove that there was negligence on the ciy's part. if that helps:dunno: The potholes are really bad this year its disgusting

I read that story too the girl with her BMW in a pothole. She took pictures and asked for a police report and the city told the judge that it took them 3 weeks to get out to see the pothole to take a photo, the city automatically losted based on neglect.
