pis c'est ouvert jusqu'à 21h le samedi
et tu vas à la plage, ça coûte rien, le sable était BRULANT, l'eau est chaude

grosso modo ça prend 1h30 1h45 en roulant pépère et avec les douanes

45mins vs 5-6 hours.

Every year I got to Woodbury with my fam, but I didn't end up going with my bro and his gf this past week-end, cause I also don't think it's worth it anymore. Why spend that much time driving, HOPING to find something you'll like, and feeling kinda forced to buy it since you went so far.

eBay FTW.

For some reason, it always takes my parents 1 hr 15 min to get to Plattsburgh :p

PS: OP, the closest 'semi-decent' mall is Crossgates (in Albany): www.shopcrossgates.com

I always stop at Plattsburgh on my way home from NYC for grocery shopping at Super Wal-Mart

Bah Burlington is much better for shopping.. However I suggest venturing in about 4-5 hours either to Albany or Syracuse.

Not to mention that 5-6 hour drive cost you how much in gas, plus you stop to eat, drink, etc. so in the end you save $50 on a pair of shoes and spent it back and then some in going there. People just like to avoid factoring these things in though.
