lol he's crazy, in the wrong sense of the traffic, i think in these countries they just fkn dont care abotu security..
 
Im in UAE right now. Everbody drives like crazy!!!!. Speed limit are a suggestion!, the cabbies drives 140-160 in a 60 zone, in the city, they tailgate 2-3 feet, and yes, at 140. A lot of cars have destroyed front bumber, I assume this is the reason....
Roundabouts are ridiculous, everybody cuts everybody. You park cars within 2 inches of each other and/or use the "bumper".

The only thing they are really strict about is running red lights. Runnig a red = 1 year in prison + suspended license. So everytime a light turns red, you have ppl doing emergency braking because they are going 140 in a 60.

Business. August is the hottest month here. We got 54C on tuesday... Its not fun beeing outside, and its super humid in the city. The tourist season is November-March.

Its an interesting place thats for sure, but I havent had time to visit at all so far. I only went sand bashing (driving in the dunes in a Land Cruiser). The desert is beautiful.

You can drive like a maniac without consequences but if you burn a single red light you get 1 year of prison? Ghaaaa something doesn't seem right here.
