Looking for a good shop prefrably west of the island to check my ABS warning lights and brakes, also someone who won't charge me through the roof just to look at the damn thing!

why don't you do it yourself? it's really easy. the probable cause for the abs light is brake dust that settled on the sensor.
 
i am not sure that its only that, i feel like the disc slip at low speeds sometimes, also how would i reset it? memory?
 
We would charge you 25.00 to check brakes and the ABS code,If you did the recomended repairs,the 25.00 would not be charged.
