Hey guys, 2009 is here and I'm debating whether or not to do the Orangeball for 2009. My heart is still in it, but it's up to you guys for the demand. I'm looking for feedback from 2008, positive & negative so that 2009 will be better than 2008.

Video feedback appreciated too. I heard a few people's opinions but the more I get the more I can improve on this year's video.

Updates:

Changing logo (either will be a single window sticker or removed all together)

Building a stabilization pod for the camera (too much shakiness in this years video)

Removing an individual video to each member and offering something else of equal value (still up in the air, willing to offer high quality free downloads online instead of giving individual dvd copies)

aye video was well done, as you said the jigger will make things better. More content in the video, may deleted scenes, or less of a preview, as the preview was pretty much the whole thing. Overall Im impressed.

im thinking of this

do it again. period!

but seriously it was awesome. The video was great, maybe a bit longer with some deleted scenes for sure. Don't show a 10 minute preview, next year do a shorter one, say 5 mins, cause it gave away a lot of the video. The orangeball was awesome last year so do it again! I like the sticker idea on the window, and of course keep them! it shows where we came from, that we r together as enthusiasts.

this year we should may be try planning out groups/stops a little better. East coast choppers was like a rallye to get there...and the groups were all over the place, who's with who and such...then again organizing that can be quite difficult

The hotel last year was fantastic. The Manager told myself and connor personally to come back the following year. He loved the business and couldn't care less about the burnouts/drinking/nudity/stupidities all together.

meh, my opinions, hope they help in some way, this has to be the most serious/time consuming post i have ever written, yay me!

I'm in also this year.. Just a thought also is to have a couple of cams out during the event so we could capture more in the vid and split the work load on you sandro. I could help you build the stabilizer. All in all great video. But as mentioned the trailer should be short. Its almost as we watch it 2 times over...

Dont hate me sandro for saying that.

As for the sticker i would keep and maybe as you said have them on the windows
I like the fact that we show off the group from Montreal.
Hotel I think i was the one with you Bryan when the manager told us to not worry about all the broken lights in the hallway, (as we were fixing them ) and to go have fun and its true he loved the business.

The pit stops well thats hard to organize i mean you do what you can.... it was fine last year.

not enough me in the video im upset

dude...i assume u had the camera in ur hands...you should have just turned it arround and filmed yourself for a while. You would have been happy! LOL

But more seriously, maybe a 2nd camera man can resolve this issue!

last year i focused more on the people of the trip than the cars. i find people more entertaining than cars.

you need to give me something entertaining and i'll put more of it in the video. i'll edit more of everyone in the movie this time around

I'm in for another year for sure. My only thing is the window stickers is a better idea. and i like the people over car approach.

I think we should also form small groups. This was suggested two years ago and looking back at last year it will make for less traffic, shorter pit stops, etc.

Also I people need to make sure their cars can make this trip in 6 hours and not 12.

I'll do it in 6hrs Pri. I'll so join your group. Last year I did it in around 10hrs. It was ridiculous. The way back was awesome because the group drove at a great constant speed.
Plus certain little black boxes on the dash help a lot with the speeding factor :D
