My friend had one for over two years, fabulous car, lots of fun to drive!
He had installed the Viggen rescue kit which helped the transmission but it wasnt enough to rescue the tranny, the main weak link of the car. Dont abuse it in 1-2nd gears, its really a highway monster.
The car with a simple intercooler, catback and filter was scary quick, really an original car with lots of character, very reliable too, much more than your average volkswagen.

I wouldn't go that far... But it's at least on par with Wolfsburg's finest...
Never had a problem with the tranny either. But then again, I only went to the drag strip a couple of time and didn't really wail on it, but I did do 120000km with it...
You have to be careful with the clutch. No because it is fragile, but because it is crazy expensive (at least, it used to be).

Désolé de devoir dire ça, mais je trippe pas sur tes roues...
Bon move pour les disques d'Aéro par contre. Ils sont la moitié du prix et la différence c'est seulement les "grooves" - et encore, les grooves sont pareils pour les deux côtés, donc il y a un bord avec les grooves a l'envers... Pas fort de la part de Saab.
Mais la voiture à l'air clean en cliss! *tu*
Et en arrière, c'est comme un Mk4 - les coils et les shocks sont séparés, et l'espace pour le shock est pas assez gros, ni assez solide, pour supporter un coil-over.
Comme un mk4 , comme une une BMW e46 aussi. Il ne se fait pas de sleeves qui vont dans les springs , comme sur cette photo ?
