Fight for French language... but can't even spell

Who the hell cares? A spelling mistake by a construction worker getting paid $9/hr means that the French language is in the crapper?

Apparently english/spanish/italians/arabs/indians/rest of the world people don't make spelling mistakes..
Interesting..

But seriously guys.
When I was doing my Sec. 5 - only 5 people out of 30 actually passed French... oh, I did my high school in French.

We had 5 immigrants in that class - 1 failed.
We also had 25 Quebecois, 24 failed.

sad but true.

I'm pretty sure you missed to whole point of this media coverage. THey are clearly agreeing with you that such mistakes are ridiculous and in a city where everything is advertised in french it's indeed unacceptable to have a sign reading an obvious spelling mistake.

I'm sorry but I don't get where you were going with this thread?

Im actually going this summer should be nice..............are you going back to abitibi with your 14 brothers and sisters, did you prepare ta tourtiere?

dont forget your riggodon!

have fun
Funny how you laugh at his heritage (although completely false) yet come back here in the fall once your summer vacation is over. Why did you even move here anyway and why are you coming back in fall?

You guys are both failures! English VS French Threads are sooo 2003 !

I respect les Quebecoéss, who are pro French for the province and who can speak/spell better french than I can, which is almost a rare find... Although i am for a Bilingual province... Just makes a person so much smarter if you ask me
