How do you protect your car from theives ? help please !!!

I have a 1990 Miata that I built as a track day car, I still drive it on the street to school, on the weekends etc...

What can I do to protect it from theives ?

I thought agout a kill switch on the fuel pump
Alarm ?
Steering wheel lock ? I neeed one that would prevent eventual theives from unbolting the steering wheel. ( i have an aftermarket Sparco steering wheel....so it's easy to unbolt if the screws are not covered by anything)

Put an alarm?

Seriously, if they want your car, they will get it unless you park a big rig infront of it!

Or else, my uncle had an old 67 corvette and he put an aligator clip connected to the ground of the coils. He had to clip it to the ground under the dash before he could start the car. Kind of getho but it worked.

si ta voiture est équipée de "tow hooks" ou tout autre endroit solide pour s'attacher,
je suggère de passer une grosse chaine avec le cadenas le plus beef possible pis d'attacher ça après ; ton garage, un arbre, un poteau de cloture, etc
moi je fait toujours sa chez moi pour la nuit, je dors mieux

A good alarm.

That will stop most thieves, if a good thief want's it they could probably get it. Just don't park in any dark ghetto places and you should be ok.

And wheel locks are always good, but some alarms go off very easily anyways.


I would always be more worried about people stealing stuff off my car rather than taking the whole car.
 
nothing will work 100%, but some kind of cut off for the fuel or spark will replace the 1000 anti theft devices on new cars.

But they can always tow it.

The best thing is o have indoor parking.
 
Quick release steering and locking the wheels
2 hidden kill switch
loud alarm because by the time he wastes trying to find the kill switches it will give you enough time to get the shovel and **** him up real good .
chaining the car to something can help to
 
une valve sur la ligne a gaz, tu coupe la pression, mais le reste fonctionne voila, y son fourrer, mais il peuve partir avec pareil sur un towing, et se meme si yé dans un garage chainer au sol :run:
 
you can't protect your car from thieves...if anyone wants your car they could take, wether it be by hotwiring it, or if its all protected by killswitches n such they slap it on a tow truck and bye bye

in my case, i just lock my doors and i have a stock alarm that makes noise when u touch my door handle
