Looks great. I'm just curious how wide is your garage inside. How many feet? And how many inches of space do you have between the car and the right wall when you park it like this?

Thanks!

Its 10 feet and 4 inches wide.

Parking like this, I have 32 inches on the left and without the gyproc sheets, I wouldve had 21 inches on the right.

There's more than enough room to step in/out of the car on both sides (without the gyproc there of course). Normally I park closer to the left but I had to work on the car a few days ago, so I parked it more to the right and got under from the left side.

So how much space to the right with the gyproc? like between gyproc and rear quarter panel. It looks like you can walk through that space. Not open doors but walk through it without a problem.

Reason i ask is because i'm building a house with a tripple garage and my interior dimensions are 29 feet wide in the beginning and then 27 feet.

How much space is enough to open a door in a car? I'm thinking i can live with these measurements although i'd probably need to park one parts backwards to get out comfortably. There won't be any junk in the garage of course. no tools and no lawnmowers.

When I open the door on the left side up to the first click of the door checker, it opens up 2 feet (24inches). I step in/out without problems. Just try it on your car and measure how far the door opens from the cars body. Normally I park about that exact length from the wall (give or take an inch) so I dont have problems walking in/out.

For the right side I pass by walking sideways I have no issues. Near the bottom I'm 10 inches from the gyproc and near the middle around 16 inches. If your not on the heavy side (no offense if its the case) 16 inches is enough.

If it was a truck or say a big square car, I'd probably recommend an extra 2 inches if you dont want to risk scratching your car and kissing the wall as you walk by it.

PS: If your concerned about the car "F" on the diagram, you might not have any issues stepping in/out on both sides if you were to park backwards.

my garage is 13feet 4inch wide, that is enough to be able to work all around the car in a comfortable space.

Usually the standart dimension for a garage is like 11feet 6 inch wide by 21 feet long.

With a triple door garage all you need is the minimum space to open door on both side of each car. usually 2 feet on each side is enough
