Orangeball is Montreal’s only VW/Audi/Euro cruise that brings together 50 of the most hardcore drivers each year to the world famous Waterfest car show in Englishtown, New Jersey. The rally leaves the Orange Julep this Friday July 16 to attend waterfest on July 17-18.
The Orangeballers meet up annually at the Orange Julep the Friday before Waterfest and after a bit of pleasantries that include dishing out some goodies from the sponsors, eating breakfast and snapping a few pictures of the cars they head off on their 600km trip south of the border.
This year Orangeball’s members will meet up with the WaterFest Kruize rally originating out of Toronto which will see a combined rally of over 75 cars and 150 people make the journey down to Jersey. This is the first time this meet up has happened and will undoubtedly lead to some pretty amazing stories to tell once the trip is over.
Waterfest is a car show unlike any other as it is the largest VW/Audi car show in North America. It attracts more than 3000 visitors and 100 vendors during its 2 day span and is home to many events such as a Burnout, Dyno, Drag and Show Car Competition.
Each year Orangeball puts out a movie of their rally that covers all the midnight parties, back yard burnouts and car show hotties. The best way to experience Waterfest is by living it but for all those who can’t, check out the 2009 rally.
