Second time laser eye surgery

24 hours for soft contacts.

First off, I'd like to say : I DID IT !!!!!!!

I did the lasik surgery, wavwfront personnalized laser with blade at Lasik MD this thursday. Already my vision was 20-20 yesterday at 10am. I must say 4-5 hours after my surgery my vision was almost on point !!

I can't speak now cause it's still very soon and I wanna pass my 3 first months to confirm everything is fine, but so far I am loving it. It's crazy that from -7.25 .... I get to see perfectly with my OWN eyes.

The only little thing is that I do see halo's at night but have been told it's totally normal for the first few weeks.

If any of you have questions, on the procedure, if it hurts, how you feel after etc ... what to do, let me know I'll be more then happy to answer you guys :)

Oufff, feels good to see MR :D

I'm like -2.5 (-1.75 in grade 4) and I enjoy glasses (always avoids debris from flying in your eye). I wouldn't consider surgery at this point, but if my eyes were to get much worse, I wouldn't have much to loose at that point.

Well if you don't mind wearing glasses then it's all good. But In my case I don't enjoy wearing them and have been wearing contacts for the past 10 years.

But I have had many problems with them for the past 2-3 years including infections, dry & red eyes, total discomfort. I had a bad time in vacation this year with the sand and in the sea ... same in pools so I told myself fuck that.

Went for Evaluation at Lasik MD and ended up finding 3 infections in my right eye, so I had to wear my glasses for 2 weeks in a row, worst thing in my life. I have black plastic frame glasses ( stylish ) but damn, they keep falling off your face, it was so hot and humid these 2 weeks, the plastic lost its shape and they became loose ( Prada my ass ) and it was just a nightmare for me.

Booked my surgery and 48 hours later, right now ... I can see from my own eyes, it's freaky lol.

So in the end, if glasses or contacts don't bother you ... then it's just not your time to do lasik, maybe you'll change idea one day, maybe not ...

no one gets $590 per eye.. and u don't want that shit. cuz u get no guarantees, no follow-up appointments.

btw guys, just for the women that work there, lasik is worth at least getting a consultation.
