Magic mushrooms may ease anxiety of cancer

CHICAGO — The hallucinogen psilocybin -- known by the street name magic mushrooms -- may help ease the anxiety that often accompanies late-stage cancer, U.S. researchers said on Monday.

Cancer patients given a moderate dose of psilocybin -- a hallucinogen with effects similar to LSD -- were measurably less depressed six months after a single dose compared with a placebo. Patients seemed somewhat less anxious, they reported in the Archives of General Psychiatry.

Iv'e done really low doses before (like a 3rd of a gram) and its actually fun. You don't feel high or messed up at all, just cant stop smiling :)
 
anyone can get some good shrooms nowadays? Never tried it.. looking forward to buy .. dunno 2-3g .. pm me
 
once a year boys weekend at the cottage. Magic tea. mmmmmmm good!

absolutly, tea is the way to go... ive done 2 to 5g in a tea.. never done over 5g... 5g is cool and all but i prefer by far taking 2.5 -3g

oh and i find that theres no real difference between making tea and straight up eating it.. besides the fact that eating it tastes like shit cause its grown in shit.. but the tea does take 20mins or so to make..
