So i just got my N1 and im not able to connect to 3g. Been looking on the net but nothing is working so far.

Any ideas?

Yup, you probably got the T-mobile version... on which 3G will not work with Rogers. Look for the ID under the battery and google it, you'll quickly find the difference.

which version did you get ?
3G AWS 1700 Mhz (videotron, t-mobile)
3G 1900 Mhz (rogers, at&t)

Actually the nexus one also has 850mhz.

3G automatically connects after you start the phone with the Rogers sim card. If it does not connect you likely have a non compatible 3G phone on Rogers(Fido)/Bell/Telus network.

Whats the ID im looking for. I was reading about the PB....

Mine says PB99100
From what I understood, i need PB99110.

PB99110 = AT&T / Rogers
PB99100 = T-Mobile / Videotron

So yeah, you need the other one. The one you have will work on the Rogers network, but you will only get 2G, no 3G.

I definitely don't wanna go with videotron. Ive tried a friend's nexus on videotron's network and their service and its HORRIBLE at best, even in urban areas(longueuil). Also, the prices they quoted me are around 50% more per month than I am paying now for even less than what I have with Rogers even though I have internet, home phone and illico with them.

Doesn't anyone want a brand New nexus one for 4 bills!?!?!?!?!
