Is Tuning Dead?

As the title mentions,

Is Tuning Dead? Are we the last generation of car lovers?

Well I would like to think other wise and from what I am gathering from younger peers, car enthusiasts are definitely still present, alive and kicking.

With increases in gas prices and the advent of all the new police state regulations, will tuning survive? Or is it a thing of the past?

Tuning will always be alive. It'll just go back to being underground when they increase the numbers of laws.

Tuning go back where they before. You just see more sleeper now. But we need more race track in quebec.

All the things you mentioned demoralize a lot of people.

However, car enthusiasts will remain car enthusiasts. As long as your situation allows you to have this luxury, tuning will be present.

Only the strong will survive :D

^^Yes we do and for the past 10 years they have been threatening us that they are going to close Napi and Sanair..

I agree with both you guys, I have noticed that things have gone more underground, there are more sleepers on the roads. More so, I think the lower end shops that don't have good customer service are being put out of business and losing their customers.

je me demande ce qui va se passer avec le tunning, la performance et les sports motorisés lorsqu'il restera plus de pétrole? :dunno:

Il y a des milliers de dollars depense sur la quetes du Gas Synthetic.

Japan is at the forefront of this research, and implementation is already occurring on commercial airlines as of 2012.

Post the future of this movement. What do you think will line our streets?

more sleepers on the roads.
more modified econo boxes
more Turbo

I'd say yes and no. Police cracked on us pretty hard for the last 3-4 summers but I thought they cut us some slack last summer, or maybe its just that there are less and less modded cars *td*

Rien, ce sera des voitures électriques c'est tout. Des mag ca va toujours exister, on va encore avoir besoin de systeme de freinage, et ca sera toujours possible de swappé un plus gros moteur électrique :D

Are you serious? There are 10 tracks (both drag and road circuit combined) within a 3 hour drive from Monreal. What more do you want?

Road Circuit:
ASE
Tremblant
St-Croix
Sanair
Calabogie
ICAR

Drag:
ASE
Napierville
ICAR
Sanair

^^Yeah.

I disagree with the tuning died attitude, it's more like your ricer buddies stopped doing their small meets and moved on to other douchebag activities.

Exactly!

Even tho I was never fan of the track race car look on a street use car... rather see sleepers because it's always surprising to see one when you don't expect it!
