Sorry she already watched it. She did not liked it but understand how in 1982 it was absolutely awesome + TRON legacy is the sequel to that movie, you kinda have to understand what happened in the first place imo.

First time I watched it I was like 10 so yes it was awesome for me, I rented it like 20 times. Its a shame because if she had watched it at a young age, she would feel the same way I feel about that movie. Any 80s movies you haven't watch already, you would think it sucks today. Its not the same, its 30 years ago, movie paces have changed alot. Thats like putting a nintendo in the hands of a 10 year old boy today. He will never appreciate it and think it sucks. But it WAS fun and can still be fun today!

And yes, we are still going to go watch legacy.

How old are you? I kinda find amazing that some in the mid 20 have never heard of TRON. Thats a classic, something unique and considered the best non animated movie disney ever made. Oh well, not everyone is a big fan of sci-fi like me.
 
Ma blonde et moi on a vraiment aimé ça! De son côté elle pensait pas aimé ça en plus et finalement elle était bien contente de l'avoir vu!
 
I watched the original for the first time a week before the new one and I gotta admit for a 80s movie it was really nicely done. I actually knew the game existed because it used to be one of my fav games but I never knew they made a movie out of it

Anyways I really liked Tron Legacy and will def buy it on BD

I'm 25, and I had seen it before just couldnt remember the last time I saw it all in one sitting. I agree that the pace of movies has changed but I was very disapointed by the score or lack thereof and the really terrible "action" in the original

hhaaaaaa. Well yes I agree but you have to put yourself back in 1982. It was one of the firsts movies using computeur effect and the lightings is very special specially for that time. In the 80s, this movie was innovative, unique and a big success.

Its like dune, they are planning a remake but if you listen to the original one, back in the days I was amazed by that movie. Watch it today = not so amazed lol
 
I just saw it tonight in 3D and I must say I'm a little disappointed in the 3D area! first of all 2/3 of the movie was in 2D! I expected little better and more...but the movie itself was fantastic story/plot/ect ect I liked where they went with it.
 
Je suis allé le voir hier et j'ai bien aimé. J'ai même payé pour avoir le siège qui vibre, ça m'a donné un bon massage de dos en plus...

J'ai trouvé que le concept du premier film a bien été exploité. On aborde des thèmes classiques de science fiction : la création technologique qui sort du contrôle son créateur, les thèmes religieux (la sainte trinité Père/Fils/St-Esprit et l'ange déchu). Bien sûr, le petit gars en moi a trippé sur les poursuites de motos :D Et que dire des deux femmes fatales ? Je suis toujours déchiré entre la blanche et la noire... Le film est très abstrait et l'histoire parfois dure à suivre. Je vais devoir le revoir pour tout saisir comme il faut.

J'ai beaucoup aimé la trame sonore : du bon techno tout ce qu'il y a de plus classique, mais avec la touche Daft Punk qui fait que tout sonne comme une tonne de brique. Définitivement le travail le plus sérieux de leur part à date.

J'ai bien aimé Jeff Bridges et les quelques référence à son personnage de "The Dude" (The Big Lebowski, un de mes films cultes) quand il fait son hippie.

Somme toute, un bon divertissement, mais je peux comprendre que ça ne convienne pas à tout le monde.
