alright so i signed up for netflix yesterday, enjoying the hell out of it so far, has alot of old movies i`ve wanted to watch for a long time now and didn`t feel like buying or looking for in a video store, so +1 in my book...and it`s got alot of stand-up which is amazing cause it`s saving me from buying a bunch of dvd`s (+2 hehe)

but there`s one thing i wanna know if anyone can tell me....when i do a "search" for a movie, and it says "not available", is that cause i`m still on the free trial for a month, and will become "available" only when i start paying, or cause they`re not allowed to show that movie for whatever reason...?

yup its not available to netflix canada (yet), but i still find a lot of good movies to watch, worth the 8$ a month in my opinion.

I have another question though, do they have anything against using your account at someone elses house? Cause it works well when i go over to a friends house and log in with my account, but could i get my subscription cancelled or something for it?

You can have 5 places open for your account. I have 2 computers 2 ps3 and 1 bluray attach to the account and all 5 accounts can watch at the same time.

It's because netflix usually operates by the user choosing what movies they want to watch and them netflix sends the movies in the mail, you watch them, return them and they send you new ones.
The netflix we have is only streaming, which means they have to have the movie uploaded in their database. They can't possibly upload everything so when you see "not available" it's because it's not uploaded and you would usually have to have it mailed but we don't have that option.

By the way they have all the Top Gear seasons so check that out.

Alright well I'm happy about "yet" part cause that means that they'll be available soon (eventually...I hope...) I heard alot of people saying the Canadian library would match the u.s. library sooner or later so, that'll stop most of the complainers out there...eventually...I hope...

And yeah I saw the top gear seasons, another plus...

netflix sucks because of the bandwidth cap we all have on our internet(starting in 2011, UBB will be common among ALL ISPs).

Netflix is very Good !

But would be better if there was other languages then just english and movie thrailers on xbox/ps3 would be good too!

i was wondering how long it would take before this became a "netflix sucks! everything else is better!" thread....thumbs up dudes.....

For 8$ a month there's enough good stuff.
I use it because there are a bunch of documentaries that you can't rent.
Just finished watching Vice Guide To Travel.
