Looking for A new Media Player who has experience here?

Hai guise! been awhile not sure why I keep coming back to MR for advice, but I guess I have a secret love affair with all things MR i.e the trolls, flaming, sex advice etc etc

Anyways anybody have experience with some good HD media players like:
* Dune SMART
* PopCorn Hour
* Mede8er Med500x
* DViCo TViX S1 (72%)

Or the more In store generics like:
-Boxee
-WD
-Iomega
-Hauppage

Now, I am aware I can get most of these features from my PS3. But I want another dedicated device that includes massive HD space for 1080p or .mkv files

Another option I have not yet explored is perhaps an xbox 360 hacked. Can it do HD files as a media storage and can I put in a 2TB+ drive in its place?

I'm very happy with my WD TV Live. It literally plays anything.

I bought a WD TV a couple years ago when it was released and it was amazing but then switched to the Live version because of the whole wifi/ethernet thing...

I really enjoy my popcorn Hour .. it's the old model A-110.. but works fine with all my 1080p mkv. I will update eventually to A-210 to get Bluray Iso.

I really like having menu, etc.. not like WD.

Something I realized I want too is the ability to browse and play web content i.e. go to any site and play video like xvideos (yes the pornsite, its the best sites to test internet capabilities imo ). I just discovered that works on the PS3 pretty good. What about your popcorn hour or WD Live?

I have a WDTV and would eventually switch to the Live version, one day. I don't need it to browse the web and the tv that I want to buy has that function so who knows.

Budget? And what is "massive" space?

Budget upwards to $200 and when I say massive I mean at least 1TB internal with options to link to a Nas or more ext. HD's.

Moi j'ai le ASUS O PLAY R3 et ca rock en sale mais bon si tu veux des trucs plus avancé comme le surfing web et tout c'est surement pas le mielleur. Cependant pour ce qui est de la lecture standard de film, musique et photo c'est le meilleur pour le prix. J'avais checker toutes les reviews possible a l'époque et c'était lui le orverall best mais ca revient pas mal tout au meme et le WD semble tres bien aussi. Personnellement moi je susi satisfait mais je suis pas un gosseux.
