VR6 ticking noise!

For the past couple days, my 2000 golf vr6 has been making a continuous ticking noise on the passenger side of the engine bay after having started the engine. The noise becomes more progressive as rpm increases. I just had my oil change done a week ago so it shouldn't be related to oil shortage. Havent been driving it since the noise started incase it could worsen the situation

I read a couple guides on vwvortex about people having the same issue and it seemed to revolve around either its the timing chains (which i doubt since they were changed by previous owner), either the tensioner or the lifters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Here's a vid i uploaded of the noise:

It sounds like its the serpentine tensioner pulley to me.

I have an extra pulley that could be used to diagnose the problem

Thanks again for the responses, i booked an appointment at Autobar for next thursday hopefully they could have it fixed for me!

Im thinking it might be a bearing in the alternator on its way out. or power steering pump. had the same kinda noise on my b4 passat vr, turned out to be the power steering pump.
I dont think its the intake manifold shift rod bushings they have a different sound when they go..but who knows its a video

Because I also have a coolant leak that needs to be checked out so I figured why not have it all done at the same time
