Long story short,
ICE / homeland security wants Mozilla to remove an add-on that shows alternative sites for the ones "taken down" by ICE

If you didnt know, ICE takes down sites with out letting the owners know what is happening.

so Mozilla sent this to ICE,

A huge fuck you to ICE

IMO, I would prefer not to have these redirects.

This makes the job way too easy for these guys, they ban a site then just ban the new site, and so on.

The problem is they can't lawfully do this, if people knew their fucking rights and stopped hiring corrupted lawyers maybe we'd actually get our voices heard. You can't hire a lawyer in most situations anymore, it's a laughing joke... de facto statute states only a state licensed lawyer can "represent" another person... major lulz right there, fuck you and blow me - This isn't a situation of representing a person, ISP's are NOT PERSONS.

Yes but point is Some of these sites are questionable to as why they were taken down. If they keep banning at one point they hit one and they'll be sorry.

wtf are you talking about lawyers and shit..?

ICANN is the main registrar for the internet in the world. Pretty much almost every top level domain is registered through them(IE they are the original "DNS" servers). They are located in Silicon Valley and it is a private corporation on US soil. All DHS has to do to bring down a domain is get a court warrant for it. A slightly over-simplified version is a police officer shutting down a little kid's lemonade stand because of no-permits.

demonoid was seized, and changed it's address
many others... as soon as you search for "illegal" stuff.

Stop smoking pot, it's turning you into a fucking retard.

Why would you even question me talking about lawyers "and shit" ? This is a legal matter, The internet is not supposed to have law. it's a non physical entity in our world. The government attempting to place unlawful criminal charges within it is absolute insanity.

These sites earn 100K a month, doing illegal shit. You honestly think they will hire a lawyer?

copyright on the internet isn't supposed to exist. The internet is a free place. always has been, hopefully always will be.

The USA are just a bunch of greedy fucking parasites that want more and more, they're just going to eventually implode with that amount of greed.
