He started only recently. Oh, I'm sure he's not good enough for your awesome STI.

Man, you're a prick. This thread has nothing to do with you, and polak doesn't brag about how awesome his STi is. The issue is a lack of attention to detail, not a lack of competance and detailing ability. you're just adding fuel to the fire, bravo champion

Polak could have confronted Alex with his concerns, and settled this privately, and perhaps create a thread if the issue was not resolved.

If he had, we wouldn't be here having all this fun.

I wasn't expecting this at all. Been away busy working on a lot of cars and I log in and see this.

First, to the client, next time just tell Alex what you feel is not done correctly.. and go from there. I get a lot of picky clients, and they are my best and most loyal clients. I don't mind being told if I missed something.. it can happen to anyone and I make sure to take my time to make it right.

the boss has spoken

In conclusion :

- Polak and DatDere..wtv are two homosexuals taking each others butts and cheap out on a couple of dollas

- CelicaGTS is by far THE BEST detailer !

Am I the only one (besides Polak) who thinks $300 should get you one hell of a detail?

Apparently he started at 11:00 a.m., Called at 6:00 P.M., less say 30 mins of wasted time/break is 6.5 hours.

$300 less $50 for supplies /6.5hrs ~ $40 per hour...He could have easily spent another 2 hours on details and still been profitable.

Everyone in this thread is a fucking baller that spends 300$ on a haircut, they all spend 2000$ on their details.

Ah je pense que t'a pas catché... Champion.

6.5hrs on a complete with a 2 pass paint correction is very fast. Close to what they wanted us to do at the dealership. You end up cutting corners. On a single pass it is doable, I can do it with no breaks for a single pass. And please tell me how do you get 50$ cost on supplied. Have you take the machinery use in consideration? Pads, towels, gloves, brushes, and count the time AFTER the detail. It is way more time than that. CobrAAA and any other detailer knows what preparation requires before and after any work done.

So, yeah, he talked some shit, but here it's a prime example of what came first, the chicken or the egg? This isn't some gay thread in general where people troll each other for shits and giggles. He gave a legitimate review describing what he was happy about, and what he wasn't. If people aren't in agreement, they should learn to express themselves in a mature, respectful manner or bite their tongue.

Ive read just about every page and had to Intervine after all this. I have some questions to ask , If I may...
But B4 I do please I want you all to understand that I am In no shape or form of any ******im Hahah had to get that off my chest , Ok so on to my questions

CobrAAA :
1- Why take on a job knowing that It"s actually more then you anticipated price wise ?

OP:
1- Knowing that theres was a conflict of Issue In the price did It not dawn on you that knowing It should actually cost you x-y-z more then the said price , It would make you think twice about the quality of work ?

PUBLIC:
Is there a diff between a 500 dollar detail and a 300 dollar detail job wise ?
