My mother's chemo caused some issues concerning her white globules, it dropped its level too low and made it impossible to have her next chemo treatment safely. There was a ''miracle'' injection that boosted it back to its normal level, for the mere sum of 10,000$ per injection. She ended up needing 7 of them, and its obviously not covered by healthcare. What a load of crap man.
I've had those injections and even a lot more. Trust me it's a small price to pay compared to what the chemotherapy treatments cost in general.
My treatments would have cost me about 600,000$ in the USA and I ended up paying 0$. So the 70$ boost for the white bloods cells isn't a big deal even though I agree that it should be free.
