Why are GTI's and GLI's so easy to kill ?

and at a stop sign two euro fan-boys pull up to me in their fire-wagons: a Golf GTI and Jetta GLI. They gave me the "let's race look" and I was silently preparing for the kill. When the light turned green I launched so hard I could hear them cry back at the stop sign!

So what makes the G so much more superior to those tin cans ? Is it the rear wheel drive ? The massive 298 hp engine ? The orgasm-inducing exhaust sound ? I'll keep on thinking about it while I do my hammer-curls at the gym, but post your ideas too!

You're the guy that posted on Polak's fb that EV's S2000 was shit and that he need to put in software and 800cc injectors so that he'd have backfire?
