What was your most reliable car ?

I've owned an amazing amount of reliable cars, not bad for the majority of them being under 300$. Some were never meant to be reliable, and some held up their names. Favorites include corolla's and my 07 Silverado.. The truck I've had 18 months, put over 70 000 km's on it and still runs like a charm, a few oil changes and that's it. Still doesn't show any wear for some weird reason, towed with at least 20 000 km's of that.

I've had a Pontiac Sunbird (Cavaier), and that was a shitbox; left me stranded a few times.

Honda Accord 1992; had it for about 80-90k, and only had to change the clutch master/slave. I sold it to my friend, who then sold it to our other friend, who then sold it to his brother. I still see it every now and then, but it's a rust bucket now.... So sad, since I tried to keep it clean when I owned it.

I've had my 2008 rabbit since it was 18km old, and it's now at 72,000km with no problems, but I don't really count this cause it was brand new, and everything is still under warranty. After the warranty is over, we'll see how it goes...

J'ai eu quelques voitures neuves mais aussi surprenant que ca puisse paraitre, mon jeep JKU a été le plus fiable avec aucun bobo en 70K kilo.

My 2002 Honda S2000 but than again I sold it at 48,000km... Not a single thing to fix.

Otherwise... my 2001 Saturn SC1 has been a tank. Drove it for more than 120,000km until I reach 240,000 and sold it before fixing anything but a tie roid and a coil spring.

I would say my current BMW, but I had it for only 6 months. Otherwise, my old beater, '89 Jetta. Ran for 3 winter at 400,000km on original motor and never had a single problem with it. Even the power windows and heated seats worked like a champ!

If someone wants a real tank: Mercedes 240D

My dad bought one from a guy who imported it from France. It was in amazing shape when he got it, even at 350,000KM.

He doesn't like flying and loves to drive, so he drove it to meetings, all over North America.

The odometer (not spedometer, though) stopped working three years ago at 587,000 KM. I think he did alternator and brake master cylinder, as well as some other small mainenance.

It's a nice car but really too slow for daily drive (60-65hp and 1400kg or so), if they had Turbo diesel with manual tranny in north america, I would consider them.

The 5.0 i own right now is problem free its got 4 000 kms on the clock.

You're joking, right? I sure hope it's problem free it only has 4000km!

For me it was my Tercel 97. 150,000km and didnt put a penny in it except regular maintenance. My Fit is now at 71,000km and running like new.
