forum slowness

Is it just me or is it taking sooo long to load any pages

There is a problem that has been dogging the forum for a month. For some reason, every so often the page will hang and give a db error. It happens about 100 times per day total out of 100,000 pageviews per day so it's not critical but when it happens to you it's annoying. I'll be looking to tweak MySql for a fix.

Out of these 100, it must have happened to me 90 times lol.

We did some maintenance today (you may have noticed the downtime, sorry). should be fixed now.

I was kinda worried you guys got SOPA'd.
