Vinny's 370z TT build thread *Built Block Update

Just got word that my block will be shipping in 2 weeks from tomorrow. I'll post up some pics as soon as I get it!!

Thanks rsx!! It's pretty quick, unfortunately you get used to any speed after a while imo, it's a vicious cycle :p

Rsx, to answer your question, I don't have any track plans as of yet. I use this car on nice summer days as a DD, id have to make a few more cooling/suspension mods to be track ready I think.
Besides, I don't have enough track experience to feel comfortable taking this much power to the track. Once I finish up this build I was thinking about picking up an inexpensive track dedicated car that I can use to gather some experience.
But that won't be for a while, I don't think.

Holy shit that is nice, looks like its mfucking fast too!

What do you guys do for a living... fuck I can't even think of buying an exhaust for my car right now lolll

Original post edited, added a couple pics of the shortblock which is on it's way here now. Should receive it in the next couple days, just waiting on Haig at autoworx to get back to start work! Also, I will be swapping the clutch for a stage 6 from the same company at the same time.

Im hoping to get it out there ASAP also.. My mechanic is only getting back mid April now apparently, so I'll be driving it for a little while before I start the install. The block is waiting for me at the shop already, but I haven't gotten then new fuel pump or injectors yet. Ill update with some pics as soon as I get the parts together.
I'll be taking it out of storage next week, prob Wednesday or Thursday :)

Hey all! Hope everyone is good. Not sure if I'm blind or if the edit option is gone lol.
In any case, a couple new updates about the build. After the block was put in, I went back to the dyno. Pushed the car to 565whp, but then noticed one bank was running a tad leaner than the other. The car is in the shop for the winter now, and currently getting installed:
Custom twin 255lph walbro pump setup
Custom fuel-return system
Racelogic traction control
New forgestar F14 wheels in super deep concave - 19x10 and 19x12, with potenza re-11s 285 and 305
Adjustable upper control arms.
Fast intentions dual 3" exhaust
Car should be all done by the time summer rolls back around. Can't wait! In a few months I may invest in a new clutch to support more power, and then maybe some bigger brakes before hitting the track.
